Resumen
Esta investigación se enfoca en el concepto de emprendimiento, pero desde la perspectiva de
las empresas ya consolidadas, por lo cual se hablará de emprendimiento corporativo.
Esta investigación utiliza un diseño exploratorio, de tipo cualitativo documental, ya que
se basa en la revisión bibliográfica acerca del concepto emprendimiento corporativo.
Mediante esta revisión bibliográfica se buscaba conocer el caso de empresas
colombianas que hayan adoptado de manera exitosa el emprendimiento corporativo. Para
lograrlo se establecieron tres objetivos específicos: diagnosticar el desarrollo del
emprendimiento corporativo en las empresas colombianas, comparar las empresas que han
implementado el emprendimiento corporativo y analizar cómo este se ha convertido en una
fuente de ventaja competitiva.
En el marco teórico, se define el emprendimiento como la capacidad innata del ser
humano para tomar decisiones e iniciar algo nuevo. Se destacan los aportes de varios
estudiosos en el campo, como Cantillon y Say, quienes introdujeron los conceptos de
emprendimiento y emprendedor. Se menciona la importancia del intraemprendimiento, que se
refiere al emprendimiento promovido dentro de una organización, y se destaca su relación con
la innovación y la búsqueda de nuevas oportunidades.
This research focuses on the concept of entrepreneurship, but from the perspective of already consolidated companies, for which reason corporate entrepreneurship will be discussed. This research uses an exploratory design, of a qualitative documentary type, since it is based on a bibliographic review about the concept of corporate entrepreneurship. Through this bibliographical review, it was sought to know the case of Colombian companies that have successfully adopted corporate entrepreneurship. To achieve this, three specific objectives were established: to diagnose the development of corporate entrepreneurship in Colombian companies, to compare the companies that have implemented corporate entrepreneurship, and to analyze how it has become a source of competitive advantage. In the theoretical framework, entrepreneurship is defined as the innate ability of the human being to make decisions and start something new. The contributions of various scholars in the field are highlighted, such as Cantillon and Say, who introduced the concepts of entrepreneurship and entrepreneur. The importance of intrapreneurship is mentioned, which refers to entrepreneurship promoted inside an organization, and its relationship with innovation and the search for new opportunities is highlighted.
