With the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic, normality, health, freedom, and the present of all the citizens of the world took a turn, the appearance of an unexplored disease meant the alteration of life until then known; This new virus brought with it negative implications on the health of all, especially older adults, who due to the characteristics of their age suffered more strongly from the scourge of this pandemic. Being an atypical and unknown situation, the health sector was seriously affected, the overflow of the care capacity and the increase in the crisis of care increased even more the probability of mortality among the most vulnerable people, and within which Older adults find themselves in a situation in which they require the greatest attention not only from health personnel, but also from the family and society. That is why this research, through a bibliographic review, aims to establish whether there is a relationship between the care crisis and mortality in older adults due to the Covid-19 pandemic, since it is essential that the academy research scenarios are developed from which it is possible to contribute to the protection and improvement of the quality of life of the elderly and of the population in general. The results described here allow us to reflect on the current political and health situation in the country on the right to be cared for, which invites citizens and groups in general to duplicate efforts to participate and guarantee these rights to the most vulnerable populations, and Therefore, they require greater observance of their needs and demand real and effective guarantees in the protection and fulfillment of their rights.
