Objective: To determine the correlation between the anthropometric characteristics and the muscular power of lower limbs in volleyball players. Materials and Methods: An analytical cross-sectional study was carried out with a universe population of 150 female athletes, a sample was not chosen or sampled, all the players belonging to the Atlantic Volleyball League participated in their children's categories. athletes, junior category 50 athletes and juniors 50 athletes, in the Simon Bolivar University worked 30 athletes. Results: The results of this research in 150 players of the Simón Bolívar University and the Atlantic Volleyball League show players are between 17-19 years old, represented by 48%, only 5.3% are between 22 and 24 years old . 62.7% reside in the medium-high socioeconomic stratum, the average weight was 61.38 ± 8.25, the average height was 163.82 ± 7.62, the average body mass index was 23.38 ± 3 , 19, presenting normal range according to the WHO, in relation to the adipose mass the average has very high values of 37.28 ± 7.72, and an average muscular mass of 38.22 ± 6.16. the jump Abalakov the average was of 45.75 ± 6.10, the jump squat jump average was of 34.73 ± 5.92, the against movement average was of 35.85 ± 3.54, in relation to the drop jump average it was 48.23 ± 9.36. Conclusion: The findings show that the anthropometric characteristics and the strength of vertical jump allow to have evidence that can contribute to guide the training or to reaffirm the performances reached of this particular sample, within the sport discipline of the studied volleyball, when comparing the different studies Regarding the topic, it is observed that there are quite similarities in most of the variables, such as the average BMI of 23.38 ± 3.1, of the group of athletes evaluated.
