Resumen
El presente trabajo pretende dar a conocer el proceso de investigación llevado a cabo con un enfoque mixto (cualitativo y cuantitativo), y que a través de un estudio descriptivo apoyado en la observación directa, entrevistas no estructuradas, revisión documental, entre
otras técnicas, que constituyen la característica metodológica predominante, revele el
estado actual del comportamiento de los estudiantes de la Institución Educativa manuela Vergara de Curi -en Cartagena de Indias, Colombia- en cuanto a Cultura Ciudadana se refiere, y muy particularmente en sus componentes de Identidad y Pertenencia dentro del
contexto de la comunidad educativa donde desarrollan sus actividades. Este propósito descriptivo intenta, además, poner de manifiesto la necesidad de abordar los
procesos pedagógicos al interior de la Institución educativa con una mirada hacia el desarrollo humano, que propenda por con un cambio de cultura, es decir, de hábitos, costumbres, ideales, valores, principios de convivencia, etc. que descansen en
manifestaciones de pertenencia e identidad para con su comunidad, y conlleve a la búsqueda de calidad de vida y prosperidad entre sus miembros. Es necesario destacar que paralelo al proceso investigativo, con las observaciones, entrevistas, apoyo documental, etc. se van recopilando sugerencias sobre el deber ser a
cerca del fenómeno en estudio (la cultura ciudadana), que Juego servirán de soporte, a modo de propuesta, para emprender el cambio social que esta comunidad requiere.
This paper seeks to highlight the research process, which is carried through a mixed perspective (qualitative and quantitative) and by a descriptive study that is essentially supported on the direct observation, non-structured interviews, documentary support, among other techniques, ali of them make the methodology that tries to reveal the current state of the students behavior in the public school "Manuela Vergara de Curi", - located in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia- in two core aspects related to Citizensbip Culture, which are: Identity and belonging to the school community, but inside the school activities context. This descriptive purpose has the intention, furtherrnore, of bringing up the need of the school's pedagogical framework to change its sight toward the human development, which, at the same time, stimulates the community members to change their culture, it means, their habits, customs, collective ideals, values, principies, etc. to finally demonstrate identity and belonging to their community in order to get a better quality life and progress in all sense. lt is necessary to highlight that at the same time the research processes is being held, through observations, interviews, documentary support, etc. we are collecting suggestions about the best approach to apply the research phenomenon (Citizenship Culture) which could be later used as a pedagogical proposal to initiate the social change required by this community.
