Utilizando un enfoque hermenéutico, se evaluó la efectividad de los marcos legales existentes para proteger estos derechos ante la difusión de información falsa. Los resultados incluyen el estudio de normativas y la identificación de mecanismos de protección, proponiendo soluciones para equilibrar información y opiniones. Se concluye que la responsabilidad en la divulgación de información es fundamental, destacando la necesidad de una conciencia ciudadana que respete el derecho a la libre expresión mientras se protege el buen nombre.The main objective of this article is to analyze the protection of the right to honor and good name versus freedom of expression, without violating rights that threaten human integrity. Using a hermeneutic approach, the effectiveness of existing legal frameworks in protecting these rights from the spread of false information was evaluated. The results include the study of regulations and the identification of protection mechanisms, proposing solutions to balance information and opinions.
