MÉTODOS: El proceso de búsqueda consistió en la identificación de estudios relacionados a pacientes con nefropatía por IgA con bases de datos a nivel de Latinoamérica como Scielo, PUBMED, BVS. RESULTADOS: De 258 publicaciones disponibles, 15 estudios cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión, sido publicados entre 2010 y 2020. Los estudios presentaron heterogeneidad metodológica. CONCLUSIONES: Es bien sabido que la hematuria y proteinuria son signos cardinales de la nefropatía por IgA, pero estos también juegan un papel importante en el pronóstico hacia el desarrollo de ERC, por esto, dichos signos deben ser tenidos en cuenta por parte del clínico a la hora de realizar el seguimiento al paciente, puesto que existe gran evidencia científica, la cual fue revisada en el siguiente artículo.OBJECTIVE: To observe the relationship between the signs of hematuria and proteinuria as potential markers in favor of the deterioration of patients with IgA nephropathy that progresses to CKD.
