Destacando como la criminalidad ha envuelto la etapa joven de la población, sin importar estratos sociales, sexo o cualquier tipo de distinción. Es por ello, que este trabajo investigativo pretende determinar las causas del tráfico de estupefacientes juvenil en el suroccidente de Barranquilla, desarrollando un enfoque de investigación cualitativo de corte socio jurídico, considerando que el problema afecta directamente a la sociedad y no solo al ámbito jurídico. Desde la perspectiva de la psicología forense, se puede comprender con mayor claridad el comportamiento delictivo de los individuos al demostrar que este tiene su origen en problemas dentro del núcleo familiar. Esto suele ser consecuencia de hogares disfuncionales ubicados comúnmente en zonas marginales donde las condiciones precarias impiden incluso satisfacer necesidades básicas, circunstancias cruciales para que un adolescente incurra en actitudes criminales. También la falta de educación es causa básica en último término de esta investigación, ya que son fundamentales para el buen desarrollo y como consecuencia le incita a delinquir para conseguir lo que necesitan.The authorities and the community in general in Colombia are alarmed by the increase in the consumption of psychoactive substances by children and adolescents in school environments. For this reason, this investigative work aims to determine the causes of youth drug trafficking in the southwest of Barranquilla, developing a qualitative socio-legal research approach, considering that the problem directly affects society and not only the legal field. From the perspective of forensic psychology, the criminal behavior of individuals can be understood more clearly by demonstrating that it has its origin in problems within the family nucleus. This is usually a consequence of dysfunctional homes commonly located in marginal areas where precarious conditions prevent even satisfying basic needs, crucial circumstances for an adolescent to engage in criminal attitudes.
