Dando así una definición apropiada según autores relacionados al tema en especifico. En este sentido, este estudio explora el concepto del uso de antidepresivos en el tratamiento de la enfermedad mental a nivel psicológico, en el que se describen los principales motivos del uso de antidepresivos y se identifican sus consecuencias e impactos durante el tratamiento. Como objetivo general es explorar el concepto a nivel psicológico del uso de fármacos antidepresivos en el tratamiento de las enfermedades mentales. Como objetivo especifico es describir las principales causas del uso de fármacos antidepresivos y determinar sus consecuencias y efectos a nivel psicológico. Como método se implemento la investigación documental marcando un procedimiento científico, como proceso sistémico de indagación, recolección, organización, análisis e interpretación de información o datos en torno a un determinado tema, Alfonso (1995).
