Se requiere que se aumenten las estrategias para lograr la detección, aumentar la cobertura y optimizar el tratamiento en los individuos afrodescendientes en Latinoamérica. Se necesitan estudios con suficiente tamaño de muestra para ver las diferencias según género, pureza de la raza, mestizaje, influjo social, migraciones, industrialización y severidad de la hipertensión arterial.In Latin America, an analysis of the impact on the prevalence of arterial hypertension resulting from the participation of the black race in its origin is complex since there are not many studies that analyze this problem and because the migratory behavior that originated the presence of the black race in our continent did not have the same behavior in all countries. Increasing strategies to achieve detection, increase coverage and optimize treatment in Afro-descendant individuals in Latin America are required.
