Al realizar el autoexamen de seno con regularidad se logra saber como se sienten estas áreas normalmente y así tener habilidad para detectar cualquier cambio. El conocimiento del procedimiento para la detección temprana puede significar una medida de prevención y protección que entrega a los sujetos la responsabilidad sobre su salud y su bienestar. El auto examen de seno se convierte en mecanismo para la detección temprana y en elemento central que puede significar el funcionamiento del tratamiento y la garantía de supervivencia. La temática para la investigación nace de la concientización que el auto examen de seno puede constituirse como mecanismo fundamental para la detección temprana y por consiguiente del tratamiento oportuno, sin embargo no se realiza de forma adecuada y con la frecuencia necesaria.Breast self-examination is a useful practice in health, and essential technique in no adverse effects, studies show that education should include objective information about the normal changes in the breast, the breast self-examination as required driving attitudes coordination of palpation, movement and sensation.
