Como resultados tenemos tres momentos; exponer cuales han sido las normas más relevantes en torno a la erradicación y sustitución de los cultivos ilícitos; analizar el contexto cultural en el que viven las comunidades de la región; y comparar la efectividad y limitaciones que han surgido. Se concluye que pese a existir normativas, la falta de apoyo del gobierno hacia las comunidades genera una pérdida de desarrollo social.The objective of this research was to analyze the most relevant regulations that have been proposed regarding the eradication of illicit crops, focusing on the Catatumbo region, Norte de Santander. From the interpretative paradigm and hermeneutic method, different, regulations were studied regarding the solution of this problem. As results, we have three moments; to expose which have been the most relevant regulations regarding the eradication and substitution of illicit crops; to analyze the cultural context in which the communities of the region live; and to compare the effectiveness and limitations that have arisen.
