El estudio visibiliza los múltiples roles que estas mujeres desempeñan simultáneamente como madres, proveedoras y cuidadoras, en medio de contextos marcados por la pobreza, el desempleo y la falta de apoyo institucional. Las madres cabeza de hogar se enfrentan a desafíos como la precariedad laboral, la discriminación de género, la sobrecarga emocional, la ausencia de redes de apoyo y la estigmatización social. Estas condiciones impactan negativamente su salud mental y la calidad de vida de sus hijos. La investigación destaca que muchas de ellas acceden únicamente a empleos informales y mal remunerados, lo que limita su capacidad para ofrecer bienestar a sus familias. Desde un enfoque cualitativo, el estudio propone comprender sus vivencias y estrategias de afrontamiento. Using a qualitative approach, the study aims to understand their lived experiences and coping strategies.
