Esta, se llevó a cabo una exhaustiva recopilación y revisión de diversos artículos, revistas, libros y autores que abordan esta problemática, con el propósito de comprender en un mayor nivel en qué consisten las definiciones de violencia, violencia escolar, identificar las causas subyacentes de la misma y entender cuáles son los factores que ejercen una mayor influencia en su aparición y en su mantenimiento. Asimismo, se examinaron las consecuencias de la violencia escolar teniendo en cuenta que estas se pueden dar de manera permanente a nivel físico y emocional, por ende, afectan tanto a las víctimas como victimarios. También se analizaron las variadas estrategias implementadas por las diferentes instituciones educativas a nivel mundial para hacer frente a este problema y reducir su incidencia. Se hace de mucha importancia investigar sobre esta problemática puesto que nos permitirá comprender de manera mas amplia todo lo que contribuye a su ocurrencia brindándonos la oportunidad de implementar estrategias efectivas para su prevención. A través de este análisis documental, se llegó a la conclusión de que la violencia escolar es un fenómeno bastante complejo que puede manifestarse de diversas formas, y cuyas causas son múltiples, abarcando factores individuales, familiares, sociales y culturales. Diversos autores la definen como aquella violencia que se da dentro del ámbito escolar y dificulta la finalidad educativa provocando lesiones en la integridad de los miembros de la comunidad. Así la preocupación de esta en sus diversas manifestaciones es bastante común actualmente en la sociedad debido a su potencial impacto.The main objective of this research is to analyze in depth the issue of School Violence, through an approach based on documentary research. This, an exhaustive compilation and review of various articles, magazines, books, and authors that address this problem was carried out, with the purpose of understanding at a higher level what the definitions of violence, school violence consist of, identifying the underlying causes of the same and understand which are the factors that exert a greater influence on its appearance and its maintenance. Likewise, the consequences of school violence were examined, taking into account that these can occur permanently at a physical and emotional level, therefore, they affect both victims and perpetrators. The various strategies implemented by different educational institutions worldwide to deal with this problem and reduce its incidence were also analyzed. It is very important to investigate this problem since it will allow us to understand in a broader way everything that contributes to its occurrence, giving us the opportunity to implement effective strategies for its prevention. Through this documentary analysis, it was concluded that school violence is a complex phenomenon that can manifest itself in various ways, and whose causes are multiple, encompassing individual, family, social, and cultural factors. Various authors define it as that violence that occurs within the school environment and hinders the educational purpose causing injuries to the integrity of the members of the community.
