Mediante una revisión de la historiografía política colombiana, específicamente de la mano con la técnica de investigación documental, este trabajo permitió comprender el contexto histórico-político de Colombia y su influencia en la familia como agente primario de socialización política. En el marco de las conclusiones se resalta que el entorno histórico–político que ha existido históricamente en Colombia ha influenciado en el rol socializador de la familia, lo cual indica que el grado de influencia de la familia depende de las características particulares de cada una, de su estructura, de la red de interacciones y de la motivación de sus miembros, de la coincidencia política entre los padres, del clima educativo y comunicativo familiar, entre otros aspectos.The process of family political socialization is related to explicitly political values and beliefs transferred by the family to its members and alludes to the political activity in everyday life, in this sense they are directly linked to the configurations of the spaces where the imaginaries are produced and reproduced. politicians of society.
