Para abordar los objetivos y relación de las dos variables se aplicó la primera versión del Acceptance and Action Questionnaire (AAQ-II) y la escala de adicción a la comida de Yale o YFASThis study aims to analyze the association between experiential avoidance and food addiction in adults aged 18 to 40. Experiential avoidance has recently become a relevant topic, referring to the phenomenon in which individuals avoid interacting with personal experiences by using specific emotions and actions—such as resorting to certain addictions. People often increase their food intake when experiencing negative emotions, which begins to affect their overall health. Therefore, this research adopts a quantitative approach, using a non-experimental and cross-sectional design.
