En el presente estudio se evidencio que la población menor de cinco años del municipio de Puerto Colombia (Atlántico), se encuentra en riesgo, porque el porcentaje en la variable P/E es de un 28,9% siendo bastante considerable, particularmente los menores de 2 años, de igual forma en este mismo número de porcentaje, los niños se encuentran en riesgo en cuanto a la talla para la edad, y no obstante en peso para la talla observamos que existe un riesgo de sobre peso con un 13,3%.
