Resumen
La Anorexia es un trastorno del comportamiento alimentario que se caracteriza por una pérdida significativa del peso corporal producida normalmente por la decisión voluntaria de adelgazar y acaban convirtiéndose en una obsesión, en la que dar marcha atrás es casi imposible por que atentan contra la vida.
A través de una investigación realizada en la Universidad Simón Bolívar se identificó cuáles son los estudiantes que presentan los factores de riesgos para desarrollar la anorexia en la Universidad Simón Bolívar Barranquilla Atlántico año 2010 todo esto se logro: evaluando si las amistades, la sociedad y las familias eran los causantes de la aparición de los desordenes alimenticios, determinando cuáles eran los jóvenes con mayor probabilidad a desarrollar la anorexia y si los medios de comunicación influyen en la aparición y desarrollo de la anorexia por medio de encuestas aplicadas a los estudiantes.
