Resumen
No cabe duda de que el uso de las redes sociales conlleva riesgos, pero también beneficios para toda la sociedad. La motivación del
presente trabajo es descubrir, precisamente, estos en la utilización por parte del colectivo de personas con diversidad funcional, ya que,
como en otros ámbitos, su experiencia tiende a ser diferenciada y a toparse con barreras. Así pues, mediante una investigación descriptiva se descubren tanto los aspectos negativos como el potencial que puede encontrarse en ellas. La conclusión principal hace imperante la
alfabetización mediática de forma generalizada, para paliar los riesgos y favorecer la inclusión digital, así como todos los grandes beneficios que ella reporta, como el empoderamiento o la socialización.
There is no doubt that the use of social networks carries risks, but also benefits for the whole of society. The motivation of the present work is to discover, precisely, these in the use by the group of people with functional diversity, since, as in other areas, their experience tends to be differentiated and to run into barriers. Thus, through descriptive research, both the negative aspects and the potential that can be found in them are discovered. The main conclusion makes media literacy prevailing in a generalized way, to alleviate the risks and favor digital inclusion, as well as all the great benefits that it brings, such as empowerment or socialization.
