Resumen
En este trabajo de investigación se expone un análisis comparativo de la inversión extranjera directa percibida por Colombia como miembro de la Alianza del Pacifico, y su influencia sobre el producto interno bruto (PIB) y la generación de empleo, durante el periodo 1994 – 2018. La importancia radica en conocer los movimientos que han presentado las variables, cómo han contribuido al crecimiento y desarrollo económico del país y cuál ha sido el impacto presente en ellos. La metodología utilizada se enmarca en un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y analítico. Los resultados más relevantes son: la IED recibida presenta un mayor aporte en el desarrollo de países como Colombia, el cual es dependiente de esta variable para disminuir tasas de desempleo.
This research paper presents a comparative analysis of foreign direct investment perceived by Colombia as a member of the Pacific Alliance, and its influence on gross domestic product (GDP) and employment generation during the period 1994 - 2018. The importance lies in knowing the movements presented by the variables, how they have contributed to the growth and economic development of the country and what has been the impact present in them. The methodology used is framed within a quantitative, descriptive and analytical approach. The most relevant results are: the FDI received presents a greater contribution to the development of countries such as Colombia, which depends on this variable to reduce unemployment rates
