Teleworking is a work modality that has undergone significant evolution, contributing to its adaptability, autonomy, and the competitiveness necessary for its integration. This is thanks to the 5G generation, which connects all devices and technological tools to create a virtual community that offers greater comfort, security, and satisfaction for the human talent that uses it. Soft skills, knowledge, and experience are leveraged to ensure secure and optimal job satisfaction. Therefore, this study seeks to develop the following specific objectives: 1. To conduct a socio-legal analysis of Law 1221 of 2008, along with the current regulatory guidelines in the Municipality of San José de Cúcuta. 2. To determine the current working conditions, technical aspects, hierarchical structures, and monitoring procedures in the Municipality of San José de Cúcuta through a semistructured interview. 3. To propose strategies for the appropriate adoption of teleworking in the Municipality of San José de Cúcuta, based on best practices and leveraging the existing legal framework. The methodology employed a pragmatic paradigm, which details all the characteristics of the context, along with a mixed-methods approach, utilizing interviews and surveys to yield theoretical and statistical results. Finally, the design was descriptive. As evidenced, this option is gaining significant traction, thanks to adjustments in labor regulations, coupled with substantial investment in technological tools, including software and applications based on artificial intelligence, to prevent cyberattacks, which have become increasingly common in public entities.
