Resumen
El objetivo del proyecto fue determinar si existen diferencias significativas en el
comportamiento de las variables autoestima, inteligencia emocional y social, orientación suicida,
y la expresión de la ira en función del contexto donde reciben su instrucción académica los
educandos de secundaria de las instituciones educativas de Norte de Santander. Este trabajo se
enmarco en el enfoque cuantitativo, donde se utilizó la recolección de datos para probar hipótesis
con base en la medición numérica y el análisis estadístico. Por tanto, el diseño de estudio es no
experimental. La investigación fue transversal con un alcance de profundidad; en cuanto a la
población fueron 4.317 estudiantes de Básica Secundaria de 11 establecimientos educativos del
Departamento Norte de Santander en el área urbana y campestre. Los resultados demostraron que
no se encuentran discrepancias entre las variables con respecto al sector educativo (urbano y rural).
Por esto se concluye que fue preeminente que en los planteles educativos se generen espacios
reflexivos, recíprocos sobre la importancia de fortalecer el nivel de autoestima, la autorregulación
emocional; la comunicación; la necesidad de expresión de la ira asertivamente a fin de potenciar
en los alumnos habilidades que le permitan su formación integral y disminuyan los pensamientos
suicidas.
The objective of this project is to determine if there are significant differences in the behavior of the variables self-esteem, emotional and social intelligence, suicidal orientation, and the expression of anger as a function of the context where high school students from educational institutions in Norte de Santander receive their academic instruction. This work is framed within the quantitative approach, which uses data collection. In of data to test hypotheses based on numerical measurement and statistical analysis. Therefore, the study design is non-experimental. The research is transversal with an in-depth scope; as for the population, there were 4,317 students of Secondary Basic Education from 11 educational establishments of the Department of Norte de Santander in the urban and rural areas. The results show that there are no discrepancies between the variables with respect to the educational sector (urban and rural). For this reason, it is concluded that it is preeminent that the educational establishments generate reflective and reciprocal spaces on the importance of strengthening the level of self-esteem, emotional self-regulation, communication, and the need to express anger assertively in order to enhance the students' skills that allow their integral formation and reduce suicidal though.
