dc.descriptionThe present article is based on formulating improvement strategies in the infrastructure of “Puerto de Barranquilla” to take advantage of opportunities that generate a positive impact on the competitiveness of Colombia, the research design was of a transversal nature, where the descriptive method was applied. the biometric review related to the subject addressed, the research technique used was analytical, under the type of qualitative research, with the results it was possible to show a great failure in the port infrastructure of the port, fact that led to design sustainable strategies for improvement of the infrastructure of the port of Barranquilla and in this way to detect the opportunities that allow generating a positive impact on the competitiveness of Colombia. Finally, with this analysis of this study, it was possible to know the different shortcomings of the port of Barranquilla in terms of its infrastructure, but at the same time strategies that contribute to the economic, social and sustainable development of the port can be used.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo se fundamenta en formular estrategias de mejora en la infraestructura del Puerto de Barranquilla para el aprovechamiento de oportunidades que generen un impacto positivo en la competitividad de Colombia, el diseño de investigación  fue de carácter transversal, en donde se aplicó el método  descriptivo de la revisión biométrica relacionada con el tema abordado,  la técnica de investigación empelada fue analítica, bajo el tipo de investigación cualitativa, con los resultado se logró evidenciar una gran falencia en la infraestructura portuaria del Puerto, hecho que conllevó a diseñar estrategias sostenibles para el mejoramiento de la infraestructura del puerto de Barranquilla y de esta forma lograr detectar las oportunidades que permitan generar un impacto positivo en la competitividad de Colombia. Finalmente, con este análisis de este estudio, se logró conocer las diferentes falencias que presenta el puerto de Barranquilla en cuanto a su infraestructura, pero a su vez se pueden emplear estrategias que contribuyan al desarrollo económico, social y sostenible del Puerto.es-ES
