Resumen
En la actualidad la actitud es conocida como aquellos juicios a nivel afectivo, cognitivo y comportamental que dan resultado a diversas reacciones en el individuo siendo así, los adultos jóvenes quienes presentan una variedad de estas reacciones frente a la vejez. Según Eagly y Chaiken (1993) la definen como una tendencia psicológica que se expresa mediante la evaluación de una entidad u objeto concreto con cierto grado de favorabilidad o desfavorabilidad y al definirla como una tendencia, se da a entender que se trata de un estado interno de la persona. Por tal motivo se hace importante conocer y describir las actitudes del adulto joven frente a la vejez con respecto al rol que estos desempeñan en la sociedad y su relación con los ancianos, esto con la intención de describir dicha relación, para con éstos; ya sea positiva o negativa. Por tanto es necesario indagar sobre sus puntos, aspectos que estos generan y sus manifestaciones a nivel comportamental, afectiva o cognitivo que los lleva a mostrar un tipo de actitud ya sea en ocasiones adecuadas o inadecuadas.
Este proyecto de investigación tiene como finalidad describir las diferentes actitudes que el adulto joven puede manifestar hacia la vejez, en los diferentes espacios en los que estos se desenvuelven. La propuesta de este trabajo se encuentra ubicado dentro del enfoque cognitivo-conductual, apoyado en la conceptualizacion del autor Francisco Morales.
Este trabajo busca o pretende describir las características fundamentales de las actitudes del adulto joven frente a la vejez. Para ello la población esta conformada por 365 estudiantes de psicología de 5-9 semestres de la jornada Nocturna de la universidad Simón Bolívar de la ciudad de Barranquilla, de los cuales estarán repartidos en hombres y mujeres con edades que oscilan entre 20 y 40 años de edad.
La investigación se realizara teniendo en cuenta el paradigma de investigación empírico-analítico cuya base consta de la observación, medición, descripción y verificación de lo que se pretende estudiar, con un tipo de investigación y estudio descriptivo, donde solo se produce un acercamiento al fenómeno para conocer y comprender las diversas situaciones.
La metodología a utilizar es de corte cuantitativo ya que esta se especializa en una descripción detallada de las costumbres, la manera de relacionarse y las actitudes ante los fenómenos. El instrumento que se utilizara será la escala Likert, que es uno de los instrumentos para la medición de las actitudes. Este estudio se realizara dentro del grupo Familia y Desarrollo Humano de la línea de vejez sana y patológica.

For this reason it is important to understand and describe the attitudes of young adult versus old age with respect to the role they play in society and its relationship with the elderly, this with the intention to describe this relationship, so with them, either positive or negative. Therefore it is necessary to ascertain their views, issues they generate and its manifestations at the behavioral, emotional or cognitive impairment that leads them to show a kind of attitude at times either appropriate or inappropriate. This research project aims to describe the different attitudes that the young adult can express toward old age, in different spaces in which they unfold. The proposal of this work is located within the cognitive-behavioral approach, supported in the conceptualization of the author Francisco Morales. This paper seeks or intends to describe the fundamental characteristics of the attitudes of the young adult versus old age. For this population is made up of 365 students of psychology 5-9 semester hours of college Night Simón Bolivar in the city of Barranquilla, of which shall be divided into men and women with ages ranging between 20 and 40 years of age. The research was carried out by taking into account the paradigm of empirical research, analytical whose base consists of observation, measurement, description and verification of what was intended to explore, with a kind of research and descriptive study, which only occurs closer to the phenomenon to know and understand the various situations. The methodology used is because this court quantitative specializes in a detailed description of customs, way of relating and attitudes phenomena. The instrument that was used to be the Likert scale, which is one of the instruments for measuring attitudes. This study will be conducted within the group Family and Human Development of the line of old age healthy and pathological.
